My dad was a pastor, so I was raised in a loving Christian home, We attended church from Monday to Sunday. Thinking I am saved because of my upbringing.John 14:15 God says, ‘If you love me, you will keep my commandments.’
How could I say I love God and not keep His commandments. I was confessing Christ verbally but not physically. In 2022 through bible study, I learned what God’s Word teaches and who God really is. My only thought was that God is love. With this being very much true, God is not only love but He is Holy andjust.
The Holy Spirit convicted me of my sins and made me realize how desperately I need to repent and trust in Jesus.
By God’s amazing saving Grace as Psalms 40:2 says, ‘He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.’
Jesus is the solid rock on which I stand. I know God has always been with me, I can see His mighty hand, mercy and grace in my life, and I am so thankful that He is the same God yesterday, today and forevermore, although my seasons change, He stays the same. Forever grateful that He loved me first and chose to save a sinner like me. To Him I owe it all.
There is no greater love and no greater Joy than the love and Joy that comes from our Lord, Jesus Christ. I have been redeemed by he blood of the Lamb. To God be the Glory, forever and ever.
